The iLabber product and trademark are owned by Contur Software AB.
Contur is a Swedish software company founded in 1999 with worldwide operations. iLabber is based on the enterprise product ConturELN used by many leading science organizations.
ConturELN was originally developed together with Biovitrum (One of Europe's top Biotechs). Approximately 30 scientists from 10 different disciplines were involved in the project to ensure usability, functionality etc before the roll-out to around 500 scientists was initiated in 2003. User satisfaction was instrumental in this installation.
ConturELN is today deployed at over 60 companies around the globe, mainly in Europe and North America.
